Hello ladies! Are there any past Westbury Manor garden room brides out there that could help me?? Im in love with westbury manor and seriously considering booking the garden room for next year but concerned the dance floor is too small! I can guarantee all of my side of the family will be on the dance floor (even the elderly will be doing the cupid shuffle im sure) and I dont want to feel squished. So far the invite count is up to 165...prob 130-140 showing? But who knows!! How many people can COMFORTABLY dance in this room? We could bump up the invite list for the manor room but i really wanted to keep it a small wedding. AHhHhHhh!!!1 Id appreciate any input thanks for reading!

Re: Westbury Garden Room-dance floor too small??
This is my dilema too but the Westbury Manor is soo beautiful that I don't care.. I'm in the Garden room in April with nearly 140 people. I think any more than that might be a little tight. You should also ask one of the banquet managers for their opinion they would know best, they're really helpful.

We had the same issue. We went back & forth between WM and another. We wouldn't have been comfortable with more than 120 ppl in that room. We have a very lively bunch. We felt the dance floor may have been too tight. It was a tough decision but we ended up booking someplace else. It would have been horrible for us if we would've had to keep wondering if we'd all be comfortable in that room & hoping that we had ppl RSVP no... With all the other things to do and worry about I'm very happy we made that decision. Hope this helps.

If you go to you tube and put in after hours (DJ) i think they have the both rooms at westbury manor ...i would just do that ...or just put in garden room at westbury manor and see what pops up!!

I am booked for that room, and I am keeping my wedding for about 120-130 people. When we booked there, we saw the room set for 140 people. Our BM said that's the max for that room. I didn't find the dance floor to be that small, but then again I am not inviting the max. The manor room is much, much bigger and could fit a much bigger wedding.
But overall, I do think the dance floor is suitable for about 120-130 guests. As someone else suggested, look on youtube.com at Afterhours. He provides a good idea how the room is setup, and how the guests appear on the dance floor.

I had my shower in that room, and altough we didn't dance for it, there were 90 ladies and it felt tight. I can't imagine it being comfortable on that dance floor. I'm sorry if this isn't what you wanted to hear, but I think you wanted an honest opinion!! Especially if your family is a dancing family! I'd go with the Manor room and try to do the minimum for down there. I can't imagine it would be much more than the amount you're already inviting.

Love you ladies thank you! I searched on youtube and it's still hard to tell. I think I'm def better off with the Manor room, but just a little dissapointed bc I liked the intimate feeling the garden room gives better than Manor. But both are def gorgeous. Now I just have to see the Manor room in person to make the final decision! Thank you for the great and honest opinions!! Really appreciate it!

No prob!!! The Manor Room is just as cozy, if you ask me. Westbury Manor just was a warm and intimate place, no matter what room. Good Luck!!
