Welcome & congrats!

My sister just booked them for October 2008. Mel is who she met with & he was great! The rooms are gorgeous, and the grounds were just amazing. What day, time, etc are you getting married?

Also I will bump up the official WM thread.

WM is amazing. I could not have been happier with our wedding day there. The staff is amazing and the food is excellent. Definitely go check it out.

It's owned by the Scotto Brothers who IMO are amazing! They own the Fox Hollow too and that's where I'm booked. From what I know their places are pretty reasonable and their food is great!

My fh and I looked at Westbury Manor on our hall search a few months ago. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, and the main reception room is beautiful, however, I wish we had known in advance that they will not allow evening ceremonies. So if you are looking to have your ceremony held there at night, it's not gonna fly.
Lots of luck to you and your fi!

***sorry, they will not allow saturday evening ceremonies, not evening ceremonies in general.

Westbury Manor was awesome!! I loved them from the first second we walked in there! I only have good things to say about them! I will be posting my review real soon so you can read from there, but honestly you CAN NOT go wrong with westbury manor!!

FYI: Westbury Manor is not part of the Scotto Bros. company any more. It is owned by one of the scotto bros (Jerry) but has no affiliation with any of the other places.

It is considerably cheaper per plate to get married on a sunday day, but the start is at 11:3a I think, maybe 12noon. My sister is getting married there, on the Monday of Columbus day & her ceremony will be in the garden (weather permitting....and it had better!) and will begin at 11:00.

It is only owned by one Scotto. The 'Brothers' are not all in the Scotto Brothers anymore. Mel (my sister's BM) used to be the BM at Fox Hollow.

By evening, how late did you want your ceremony? Mine is on a friday night, outdoors at eight o'clock.

I am getting married there in 20 days! I can't wait!

You can't go wrong with Westbury Manor. I was a Scotto Bride and they were a pleasure to work with, and all the times I've been to WM have been exquisite.

WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every single thing about them, from the beginning to the last second is amazing. In my opinion, the grounds are one of the best. The staff is so helpful and caring. They leave you and your guests wanting to go back once a month!!! There are a few pics in my album as well.

We wanted a Saturday evening ceremony (7:30 ish), and were told that they only do Saturday morning (11am i think?) ceremonies.

Re: Westbury Manor

Westbury Manor was the first place FH & I checked out. I believe we met with Susan - who was really helpful, although lacking a bit in a sense of humor - which I found even more comical!

I thought the grounds were amazing - absolutely beautiful! Very reasonably priced with a really extensive menu. The only reason we ended up not booking them was because the cocktail rooms (I think they were called the Conservatory & the Library) were way too small for our wedding, at least in my opinion. The bridal suite was really tiny too - but that all goes with the territory of booking in a historical home.

All in all though - I've heard nothing but wonderful things about it & the backdrop makes for beautiful pictures!
Enjoy the tour!

As others have said - you can't go wrong with the WM - it was an A+ experience from start to finish. Check out my review if you like. Good Luck!
