Hi Ladies - I have a few questions for those who had their wedding at WM, or anyone who knows the answer to these:
1. For those in the Manor room on a Saturday night, did you see another wedding going on?
2. Does it really end at 11:30? Or does it go a little later.
3. How was the cocktail hour?
I think thats it - thanks!!!!

Re: Westbury Manor
My wedding was on a Sunday but I had no idea there was another party going on. When they say it ends at 11:30 they mean 11:30...our DJ had everything timed and the bridal attendant and MD had everything packed up for us and ready to go. The cocktail hour was amazing. I hardly had a chance to taste any of the food from the stations (I was too busy talking) but our family and friends have given rave reviews of the CH food. Oh if you can have them add a martini bar. We loved and and apparently it was a huge hit with our guests.

Re: Westbury Manor
the doors are closed so you don't SEE another wedding.
yes they do mean 11:30 but the place isn't kicking you out but trust me they know how to shoo people along. your vendors will be gone though.
CH = awesome. :)

I'm just a bit concerned about hearing another wedding. I also would prefer not to see another bride. I'm hoping that the other room gets booked for some other kind of party, lol.

I have been assured that 2 brides will never cross eachothers path. They set the times of the cocktail hour and reception so that when 1 is going on the other party is in their room and vice versa.
I lucked out and there is a sweet sixteen booked for my day and they will be gone early....yay

You cannot hear the party in the garden room at all. Apparently there was a VERY loud family reunion in the other room and I had no clue. As for seeing another bride they usually stagger the parties so that does not happen.

Re: Westbury Manor
I was in the garden room and you couldn't hear anything that was going on in the manor room. every time i left the garden room, the bridal attendant and maitre'd made sure i was the only bride walking through the hall to the bathroom/bridal suite. i know there was another wedding the same night as mine because they had the vienesse hour right outside the manor room and my uncle saw the bride and groom when he was going to the bathroom. i never saw the other bride.
