WESTBURY MANOR BRIDES!

I was wondering if any of you are keeping their chairs? You know, the maroon ones. I don't like them...

I want to rent slipcovers to cover them, is anyone doing this? If so, how much are you renting each slipcover for?

i'm thinking about doing that too... i havent looked into places yet though. the WM doesnt offer them? i tried calling, but none of the BM's were available if i find out though, i'll let you know

Hey ladies!

I am not crazy either about the chairs...especially since my wedding is a fall theme...Deep plum will be in the centerpieces however, I am most likely getting slipcovers from FINISHING TOUCH...They are however pretty pricey but sooo worth it. I saw pics from another bride on this website that had it. And it makes such a difference.

I think it's $5 a chair and $7 a chair with the bow!!! So figure close to 2,000 for the slipcovers. I haven't heard of any other places that offers them. FInishing touch also sets them up, doesn't charge if anything spills on them, and also comes after wedding to pick them up. Depends on how much you HATE the chairs LOL

hmm.. at first i wasn't thrilled about the chairs, but, if you think about it, they do match the atmosphere... also, I have seen photos of brides who didn't have slipcovers, and it didn't look any less spectacular to me...

I think, at the end of the day, I would much rather have an extra 2k in my pocket for the Honeymoon, then spend it on covering up chairs- I think everyone will be blown away by the place itself, and wouldn't even think twice about the chairs..

now, if they were folding chairs, that would be another story! ha.

I did go to a showcase there, and the slipcovers were 7.5 a chair :)

i spoke to the WM.. they said it was 5-7 per chair also. F that

im sure it will look just as beautiful w/o them

I have been to a lot of weddings at WM and until I went in to book the place, I couldnt tell you what the chairs looked like, let alone what color they were. I do wish they were not pink/burgundy - but I'm not willing to spend the money to change them. . . so instead i'll be hopelessly positive about them. . .

Yes! and saving money Never, i mean NEVERRRRRR goes out of fashion!!

if one of the presidential candidates sits in a pink chair... he's got my vote. HAHA great sense of priorities, huh

I like the pink chairs- it goes with my theme color pink!!! plus it matches the rug too, the rug is a bunch of pink tones. i was there while a wedding was goin on and they didnt cover the chairs and it looked very pretty- plus out of all the wedding ive been too i remeber only 1 having the chairs covered and i found it to be annoying because it was hard to pull the chair out or grab to get out of my seat especially if the table is cramped with guest. otherwise I cant remember not one of the chairs from other weddings
