WESTBURY MANOR Brides

Anyone getting married at WM? If so, do you remember how much the officiant fee is?

And how much should we tip the maitre d??

what do you mean by officiant fee? We got ours but not through the wm..... I don't know how much to tip the maitre d but i was planning on asking them what it typical..... have you finalized your menu yet?

Hey there! I am getting married at WM on 9/21/08. They just told us that you should tip the bridal attendant at least $50 and the Maitre D between $3-5 pp.

We didn't get our officiant through WM....do you mean how much did we pay for the ceremony fee?

We are going to choose our menu on 7/10 I believe...

Are you ladies going to the bridal showcase on 7/15? MY FH can't go but I think that I am going to bring my mother and my MIL.

when we booked with WM, we were giving a contact number if we wanted to use one of their 'house' officiants. She rattled off a number that was the standard fee, but I remember what it is. I guess i'll give them a call

I had initally called one of their recommended guys but it was too tough to get an appt...we ended up getting on one on our own.

i went to the last show and while it was fun it was so crowded. my fh couldn't come which was fine. i had wanted to try some of the fun and apps they had there but the lines were waaay too long. we're hoping to do that this time...

i wouldn't rush to get there when it first starts as we did. that way maybe you can avoid the crowds!

I'm not sure... I remember being told that you do that 6 weeks before.. I would assume they would contact you...i guess we should find out !! lol

I already called and asked about finalizing everything. They will call you as it gets closer to your date. Unless you get anxious you can call and schedule an appt. to take care of things.

Hey Ladies -

I had a super short engagement (got engaged 5/31/08 and wedding is 9/21/08!) and we just booked Westbury Manor about 2 weeks ago but we are going in to finalize the menu on 7/10.

Did you guys get anything thrown in that they weren't going to originally give you??

when we signed our contract, they offerred us the in house officiant for a fee of $350. we didn't use them though, we used pastor april instead.

You mean you never spoke to any priest or pastor yet to do your ceremony?? You should have contacted them along time ago. I would call them ASAP! WM does not book them for you. They just giv eyou there # and you have to call and set everything up and meet with them.

I'm not at WM but, when I had my tasting, (last week) our BM told us that he gets paid by them-so she said its up to us considering this person runs the entire show. So we discussed and came up w/ at least $200. I felt so good about her honesty. She also said the attendant also gets a salary-so we said about $50 and she said fine.

I suggest you try to find out how they get paid in general.

Hey Ladies... Did any of you get an invitation for the Bridal Showcase on 7/15/08. I was on there website and I saw it listed but I didn't get anything. I hope I'm invited, we didn't get married yet. I love going to see cakes by Jay and to eat!!!
