September 12th...Kelly from Dazzling Moments, WM's planner, is throwing it for WM brides to taste cocktail hour food. I don't remember the exact time it starts because we are going to go late because it is the same day as the LI Wedding expo, so we were stopping by there first. We wouldn't have found out about it if we didn't go to the meeting with Kelly that WM set up for us.

Those brides who didn't use Kelly, are they still invited? I felt that I didn't need her advice, or anything since I have already planned the majority of things. I'd like to go to the WM cocktail tasting since I have booked there but is it opened to all booked brides?

Thats odd...I emailed the person I booked with and she said invited would be going on next week. How can that be if the showcase is next week?

I didn't find her too helpful...she was nice and all but all they do is make vendor appointments for their reccomended vendors only. And lauriela...I don't know why she said that...should I call my BM?

I met with them yesterday and they are my favorite so far! Tomorrow I meet with Thomas Paul and then we have seen 4 so we will decide...question though..FH is concerned that we have to pay for most of Duet before the wedding..is that the case with all photgraphers?

I dont know. We only went to one other - golden moments and they were so full of themselves! We are paying a % in Nov and then the day of and then a portion after. Who did you like best? We booked with Jay! They were very reasonable. Did you do flowers yet?

I didn't meet Jay or recall seeing his album, I liked Kevin's and Nick's albums. Today I am meeting with Thomas Paul. No flowers yet, I think I have awhile for that! Do you have any reccomendations?

I am using B-urtons. They were very reasonable and I hear great things! Ashely from Helens in commack for dresses! Love her!!!! I haven't done limos yet :) still need to do that!

I recommend two florists: Designs by Rose, and Flowers by Emil. Both were so much cheaper than the most used vendors on here. I priced out Hidden Essence and was quoted a little over double for what I wanted.
DJ I am using an outside vendor and got an amazing deal.
Video not sure if they are a house vendor, I have to check - got an amazing deal
