Did they charge a cake cutting fee? Did they give you something else in lieu of the cake?
I brought in a cake from an outside vendor and they didn't charge me anything. Since the cake was included in my package I tried to negotiate for something else. I didn't get a credit, but I was able to add a few more choices to the cocktail - which we really didn't need more food at, but at least it was something! They mentioned that I would have to sign a paper for insurance reasons, but they never had me do it. Maybe they just checked into my baker since they asked who I was using.
