We booked at Hilton Garden Inn Westbury. Book 10 or more rooms and the shuttle is free because they're recommended by WM

Re: Westbury Manor Brides - Past and Present
I initally blocked rooms at La Quinta, but I got the Marriot in Uniondale 2 lower they're rates 2 almost match La Quinta's. So I may just block rooms at the Marriot instead.

The Marriot requires that you fill at least 80% of your room block or you have to pay the unbooked rooms until you reach 80%. We did not want to take the risk.

Heya! I spoke to the sales manager of the NY region for the Marriot and this is the response she gave me...
'That is true, however with a block of 10 rooms, I am able to waive that restriction. If you were asking for a larger block, than that would hold true. With this contract, there is basically no financial obligation on your part. Even if you block the 10 rooms for 2 nights and only 3 people book, we will just release the 7 remaining rooms for general sale at the cutoff date and that's it.'
