I need to rsvp to the showcase in October. Does it make a difference what time you go to the showcase? I want to meet some vendors and nervous about the 8pm time slot. Do most vendors stick around? Also, we want to sample food and cake, do you know if they have this well supplied.

You can sample all of their food and cake. The time slot doesnt really matter in my opinion. I went earlier this year and they didnt check your time.

We've gone twice. The earlier time slots allow you to walk around without too much of a crowd. Everyone is already set up, the food is being served etc. We stay until near the end and it's still going strong, but it gets CROWDED! It's harder to talk to the vendors one on one when there's a lot of people there... and the lines for the food tables and drinks can get long (but not horrible)

Yes! And the food doesn't come anywhere near to running out! It's the best!
