Itsabouttime- Find out when you get a chance. I have 3 possible BM's that it could be because they all work in that industry. I can't wait until May 15th I am so excited!

I dropped of my favors, flutes, table cameras, place cards, $ and sheets they give you to fill out. Now I just show up Saturday.

First, good luck Karissa! Have an awesome and wonderful day!!

Second, just thought I would share for the Manor Room girls. Last night FI and I went there because our band was actually showcasing in the Manor Room. So of course I had to go!! OMG! The room looks amazing. I can not believe how much work they have done in the year since I booked them. I am still in awe about the ceilings and FI saw the new bar in there since he hadn't seen it yet. I saw the new door. It is white, which at first seemed out of place, but walking around the place all the doors are white so I guess I just wasn't used to it. But the glass doors are a nice touch. They also replaced all the windows in there or at least refinished them and the doors to go outside. They are white too. It really brightens up the room! And I was talking to my BM and she said is about three weeks they are replacing the curtains, which I know someone already mentioned and they are changing all the sconces!! Just thought I would share since I saw it all in person and was blown away!!!

thats great to hear. it'll be nice for the room to be a little brighter (especially for those of us with afternoon receptions )

Tanbride said that she doesn't remember the ice cream. It just seems weird that it is included on the menu and we are paying additional for the dessert trays and not getting the ice cream. I really do think I should let Mom argue about this one.

I am the one that posted about the manor room. I didnt even notice that doors that go outside are white. I will have to go back to look. They look good right? I loved the glass doors that lead into the manor room I was alittle concerned that they were white but they look good. Thank You for the update.

Anything new with the Garden Room? How about the bathrooms in the lobby? I know that they were being redone, but I never heard from anyone how they look

Yes Mickey- The windows and doors inside the room look fantastic! I can't tell if they are just painted or replaced. I was staring at everything so much I didn't want people to think I was a lunatic!! But they make the room look wonderful. I can't wait for the curtains and sconces!

Juliet- I saw the bathrooms a little while ago - sorry I guess I forgot to mention. The ladies room looks awesome!! They redid everything in there!! I love them. And they still kept the individual sinks in the stalls. FI went into the men's room last night and said he was very impressed with how they redid it. I was tempted to go in and check, but the bathroom attendent was there!

I am so tempted to use the main bathrooms on my wedding day. The bathroom for the bridal suite that goes with the Garden Rm. is down the hall from the BS and it smelled like cigarettes when I was in there aside from being REALLY small.

Am I crazy to think of using the regular lobby bathrooms?

it's so exciting to hear about all the things being redone. I wasn't even aware they were doing any renovations.
