we are calling her tomorrow cause this is bullsh*t if you ask me, we were just there last night and she said no its not included anymore its 2 per person! we dont want it but we are calling her on her bluff- im sorry thats wrong. she was extremely rude with us last night and Ive had just bout enough with her, this was my 3rd encounter with her and each time she had an attitude. for each and everyone on here get everything in writing on your contract asap- the chair covers, the champagne station, the blenders on the bar for frozen drinks, and the wine if this is true. weddings are not cheap and they should treat every single one of their brides equally. I will let you know what happens when FH calls, the scotto family are clients of FH boss- no we didnt get any deals they dont know who we are- but I think its time to let them in on a little secret!
Who was it that you spoke to? What woman? Just ask for Jerry Scotto. He is very accomedating. He wrote everything on my contract without me even having to ask. It is definitly important to get it all in writing. Good luck
Yes we are going to contact Jerry, the family from what Ive heard happens to be really nice. Maybe they dont know how she treats their clients, we are his clients. but then again its business- but in all fairness she knows I got the info off of here even though I didnt mention the internet, so she knows we talk so why lie to one and not the other? strange. she is not making WM look good- many have FM me about her too with the same experience. He needs to know. there are many beautiful catering halls on the island and we choose WM because they too are very beautiful but that beauty should come from the ease of planning a wedding there too. not getting hell from a BM! I wish DAve was still there, he was GREAT! she even made comments about him that were inappropiate- you dont do that! I will let you guys know what happens, I hope Jerry puts us back at ease and happy and reminds us why we booked with them in the first place!

Right guest can get it at the bar thats not the issue the issue is that they are offering it to some and not all, thats whats not right. I was just there thursday night and was told it is 2 per person it is NOT an extra. But I read 2 other girls also went this week the same day and was told it is included - so thats my question. why are some of us told one thing and others another.

I don't know if i said this earlier, but I did meet with Jerry that same night that you were there and he said their is a charge. He was just being nice and giving it to me. I dont' think it is right ot only give it to some, but I think basically if you ask him for it he will give it to you. If you don't he won't. Not right, but i guess sometimes if you don't ask you don't get. I make that mistake all the time and dont' ask and then find out later someoen got the more just by asking.

OH NO I asked and got a shock response then defensive and said no there is a charge- all I said was oh I had a question in the reception are there going to wine on the table for our guests? I got the sit back up right in the chair posture and face like are you kidding me and then the oh no there is a charge - I then said oh I heard that it is part of the new changes and then she muffled over books looking for this memo that states they no longer do it, I just said ok b/c she got so defensive and nutty that I asked. we added on too that evening so I dont know why she made a big deal over the damn wine, my concern is that it shouldnt be like enie menie minie mo how ever you spell that, lol.

That is really messed up! You need to complain about this woman! Let me know what Jerry Scotto says when you tell him. That is just ridiculous! I honestly don't care to speak with bms anymroe. the one i had before the change wasn't great, the guy i signed with was awful! Since then I have spoken to two others so now if i have any questions i'm just going to jerry. He seems to be the only knwo that actually answers my questions.

Hi see what I mean. Its not about the 'wine', its about how we are being treated as clients of theirs. Yes some are going to get different things but usually for a lesser charge due to negotiating deals, but if something is given for FREE then come on thats not right to make some pay and others not, its like going to grocery store and the cashier says your milk is free but you have to pay 2 dollars- wait the 2 dollar thing is from a movie oh i got it -better off dead the newspaper boy I want my 2 dollars , lol.
oh Im glad Im laughing about this now!!! still going to call though, FH wants to call.

Interesting.. Jerry calls back.I wrote a letter to Jerry months ago to advise him how rude everyone was and how unhappy I was with the WM.
He never called me.. He had the bm handle it.
I thought that was very rude and unprofessional.

I agree it isn't right at all that some people get things for free while others don't I know someone who just booked fox hollow and is getting an ice scuplture for free and she goes to me 'aren't u getting it for free also?' No i would have to pay if i want it. But then again that is fh and wm and they aren't all run the same.
Let me know what happens when you call.

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)
I guess the whole issue with the wine is that they are trying to change services over, and like any business, doing away with some and replacing it with others. Maybe they realized they were wasting a lot of wine? Who knows! ha. So, maybe the woman was just doing what she was told to do- start charging for the wine with all the new customers. That will be hard for them to do though with us all knowing that it used to be included- it was actually one of the selling points for me!I just want to say again that every experience that I have had with Jerry Scotto has been a postive one. If you have any questions, please contact him and adress them with him, he has always addressed anything I asked him positively.
ETA: in retrospect, wouldn't it be silly to charge for wine when the can get it at the bar for free? I guess they would be paying for the convience of having it at the table?

Im not a new customer, Im getting married next month,,woo that just gave me a chill, so with all of the changes I want to be ensured that we are 'all' getting them. yes the guest can get it at the bar but the point is they shouldnt tell 1 person yes and the other no on the same day when 2 people ask. thats all Im saying, and yes the FOx Hollow is different for example they charge 500 for the chocolate fountain and 1 per person WM said they own the machine and charge 4 per person. but we will call Jerry. I will let you guys know what happens, I think it will be ok. and I totally understand its a business but what kind of business gives something for free to some and not others if there 'is' a charge for it- its bad business when word gets around I could understand if someone got it for lets say 4 and someone else for 3 it depends on negotiating skills and what youre getting but for free that isnt right. It makes you feel like they are ripping you off trying to make a buck on you when someone else is getting it for free and 2 per person for me will be 400 that could go somewhere else when others arent paying for it at all.

It is a little frustrating that everyone is hearing different things.I don't necessarily need the wine on the table, but someone mentioned- we all should be offered the same deals.
Whoever is going there soon, would you be able to ask and clarify this? Should we all be going and adding it to the contract?
I went in January and Susan said it was included, but I guess maybe they are losing money and changed their mind???
