I am just curious from any Westbury Manor brides what you plan to have your cakes look like? Since they include the cake in the service, I was worried that the cake might look kind of plain. Can anyone please post pics??? TIA!!!

If you are worried about the cake looking plain, you could always add flowers to it from your florist!

I am getting my cake from my RH and my florist will be adding the flowers. I think you can also upgrade for extra $$.

I haven't seen their cakes yet, but if it's too plain - I was going to add flowers to it.

Re: Westbury Manor - Cake included
Hi there, they have about 15 different styles for you to choose from. I had the same concern, but they actually offer a pretty decent selection for a free cake. Typically, either a circular or square cake, 3 to 4 tiers, a variety of scroll work etc. Not bad at all. The only thing is that they dont do a cake tasting because they contract Erga's bakery to do the cakes for them. I havent tasted the cakes from there, but I've read mixed reviews. Good luck!!!
I have contacted Ergas already and discussed an upgrade because i think i want to use fondant to get the filigree design look....after sending some pics what i want may be about $200 more but she told me to do upgrades through them directly and not WM because the hall will obviously charge more...i plan to go down to the bakery before i make a decision through WM and discuss options....

Thanks for reviving this! It is something that is going to bother me until we actually have to go select the cake - and that's awhile!

I have not heard the most wonderful things about their baker so I think I'm going to get my cake somewhere else.

Oh no... that makes me worried. Cake doesn't really matter to me but I don't want it to taste horrible! My friend offered to buy me a cake but I don't want her to

a lady recently posted her wedding review about Westbury Manor's cake. They said the bakery that made the cake was horrible... so read her review. best of luck!

How could cake be horrible? I'm sure its fine. Don't worry about it. Just see if you can schedule a tasting. My cake is included, too, by the RH and we're going to still pick out the flavors, taste everything, etc.

Re: Westbury Manor - Cake included
We had the WM cake this June. It tasted very good. We actually got several compliments on it. Here are some pictures. We didn't spend any extra money....You already spend enough heeheh.
It was yellow cake with buttercream and fresh strawberry's
