Westbury Manor - Food and Cake

Hello,
We are very serious of booking WM for our wedding! We went to the Polo Lounge tonight and it was phenomonal! But, we are interested in finding out how it compares to the food we will have at the wedding. What were your experiences there with the food and cake (either as a bride, groom, attendant, etc.)?

i went to a wedding there at 8/8/08 and loved it ... the food was amazing. i went with a few friends and we each got different dishes ... we loved the salmon and shrimp dish (and i hate fish haha) and the filet mignon was amazing! umm i know the cake is included and i dont even think i ate a piece but it did look good,

Everyone I talk to RAVES about how yummy the food is!!! In fact they have their fall showcase this coming Wednesday night! It's only for booked brides, but if its going to make or break your decision go and dont RSVP!!! There so many people there anyway....they have samples of their 'add ons' out for tasting.

Their cake has gotten some VERY mixed reviews the bakery is Erga's try doing a search for it and you'll see some love it, some hate it.

In my family cake is very important so to be safe we will be going else where....from what I understand if you do so, WM will give you a $200 credit towards your bill for not using their cake.
