Hello! My FH and I love the WM. Seemed reasonable in price, but i wanted to make sure we are getting a good deal.
We were offered $100 for a Friday night in August. We went in looking for June/July/November, but we ended up liking the August date.
Did anyone get any better prices? Does anyone think that price is high for a Friday in August??
And any past WM Brides, if you can let me know what kind of deals you had (extras), and how your experience was that would be great!!!
Also, does anyone know if the peacocks roam during August? Wasnt sure if there was a certain season they roam around.
Please help....

Re: Westbury Manor- Price Help
We were quoted less then that for a Sunday in October. And even Saturday in April I think was $112. I'm at work and don't have my folder infront of me. Who did you speak to? We had the sales manager.. Felicia? She was good, very straight forward and informative. I liked the cocktail area and peacocks, but not the actual room. We only saw the one room, so I don't know what the other looks like, but based on pictures I liked that one a lot more.
Felicia actually told us that she would talk us out of the extras because they go to waste, but encouraged us to do different things for the cocktail hour.
Good luck!

Yea all the numbers we got were all across the board. But we wanted summer and there were only 2 dates left. We spoke with Mel. Which room did they say you would be in? I think ours might be in the Manor room. But i couldnt really see it because there was a sunday wedding going on and Mel just opened the doors during the toast.... i didnt like that at all so i didnt want to look in, but he made me.
What kind of different things for the cocktail hour?
Thanks!

Westbury Manor is AMAZING. My good friend had her reception there in August '07 and the cocktail hour and dinner where phenomenal.
We really loved it but the pricing went up TONS and there was little available by the time we got around to shopping in September '08. My friend paid $70pp for a Friday and we were quoted $115-$100 depending on the date.

Re: Westbury Manor- Price Help
We were quoted $109/person for a Friday night in August last March- That was for the Manor room with a min. of 185 people. We ended up picking a Sunday evening for $95/person (They originally quoted us $101) with a min. of 150 people. They threw in a Martini bar during the CH, passing martinis, california rolls, franks in a blanket (for FH) and trays of cookies and fruit for the coffee/cordial table.

For the service they provide, the amount of food and their reputation thats a GREAT price. You are talking about summer. Summer is the busiest and most expensive time of year.
First off they offer you SOOO much food and their service is IMPECCABLE! I know they have 1 waiter PER table, cocktail hour is GORGEOUS, the food is phenominal and its an amazing place to get married. Just look at those gardens! Theirs ducks and peacocks walking around during your cocktail hour! Thats such a unique and special touch that NO ONE else has.
I have NEVER heard a bad thing about them and I think thats a great price and you should def do it if its what you want! =)
