Westbury Manor Question..

Hi Ladies- If you got your cake from the WM did they have a large selction to choose from? Did they let u sample the cakes before? Also if you got Ice scupltures did u get to pick out the design or do they show you what they can do?? Thx

CAKE
They give you a selection of flavors and styles to choose from. If you want to sample you would need to go to the bakery (Erga Bakery in Bethpage) and ask them. We knew we wanted Carrot, so we went to Erga Bakery and bought a Carrot Cake.
If you want something specific like a certain design, etc. there will be an extra charge.

ICE SCULPTURE
They give you a selection to choose from. Depending on what you choose there may be an extra charge.

Yep and yep.
We got a white cake with chocolate mousse filling. It was ok, not the best cake I have ever had, but hey it was free!

The ice sculture we got were doves and a heart -I think - I didn't even notice it at the wedding~

Cake - They use Ergo Bakery in Bethpage, you can go there and sample fillings, but not the actualy cake...
They have a book of cake pics, that you can look at, but if you have an idea of what you want you can bring in a pic, if it costs more then what they normally spend you can stil get it and you will have to pay the difference...

We are getting Vanilla cake w/ a layer of Cannoli cream and a layer of vanilla pudding

they also have a book for you to select form.. There is an extra charge for the sculputure.. We are getting one for the seafood table at the cocktail hour....
