Westbury Manor showcase

Who else went last night??

It was so crowded. The last one I went to wasn't that crowded. We waited like 15 min just to get into the parking lot. But everything was great!!! I made 2 appointments. One with Royalty and one with Pedestals!!! I am so excited!!! And were going to have our invitation envelopes hand written with calligraphy!!!!

So what did everyone think about the showcase last night. I didnt see andyone but Spelldzzy and Kite I believe I saw you but didn't want to approach you bec it may not have been you, lolol. I thought it was nice. I took a couple of pics. I love the way everything was lit up. Me and FH walked around the grounds, saw some swans, I think they were swans bathing in the river, sooooooo cute. No flowers in bloom yet but it stil looked nice. I thought the food was really good. I had alot to eat, they were always replenishing the hor'dorves. I wanted to taste them bec that is what we are getting for hor'dorvers. The mashed potatoe bar was sooooo good. The 3 fountains were goodddddd, yum yum. But I will just be sticking with my coco fountain. The others kinda taste the same but different colors, lol. The shrimps were sooooo good. I am def getting the cocktail Shrimp Ice display for the CH. Alot of vendors, alot of people. Alot of champagne and sangria, but I didnt like the sangria.

I had like 6 champagnes, it was good though, sweet and not to strong. Yeah good thing I didnt get the Sangria bar, it tasted like BLAHHHH, very sweet, no fruit, and no wine taste

Yes I was there I saw MPAS twice (still didnt get that picture of you lady) The mashed potato bar was awesome, the Sangria wasnt as strong as it was last time but still too much for me. I liked the chocolate fountains as well but not as much as the mashed potatoes!!! Did anyone else see the peacocks in the trees?!? It was crowded I was shocked by the line of cars to get into the lot, but it was still awesome to see the place. My MOH was about to cry when she saw it. I do have to say I was disappointed in some of the people in attendance...people were leaving food EVERYWHERE (window legdes on the floor) when there were so many waiters walking around collecting these things. One of the BM's told me she saw someone POURING A DRING INTO ONE OF THE PLANTS! Here are a few pictures I took...you guys might have seen me I was very bright and my Best Man was losing his mind everyone was laughing at him
This is me and my FH...Westbury Manor?? No thats Will and Monica!!

Mmmmm..mashed potato bar!
Sangria!!!

chocolate fountains...

The Garden room also looked big yesterday. I got to see the bathrooms too for the first time. NICEEEEEEEEEEE and elelgant. SInks in the stalls, thats HOTTTTTT, hahahahaha. Did you see the swans in the river? CUTEEEEEEEE. Umm there was this CP that was ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL, WOWOWOWOWWO even my FH loved it. It was red and had gold masks on them. I wanted to take a pic but the guy from that company (Party Sensations) wouldnt let me. I wanted to post it on here. It was $ 500 for one. But it was sooooooooo nice

Yup! Me and my man were there...I had my hair up. You should'a said hi just in case. :) In all honesty, there were WAY less vendors this time around. I was a little disappointed but whatever. I talked to the little Argentinian banquet manager and asked her if I could personally request her and she said YES so i'm TOTALLY happy about that! The chocolate fountains were beautiful but, and please don't get offended if you love it, the idea of 300 people all double dipping into the same chocolate just totally grosses me out. I couldn't even get NEAR the mashed potato bar. Oh and the horsd'ovours (whatever) guys were NO WHERE TO BE FOUND. I was lucky that i got that one little snack from some girl I had to basically tackle so I could get some food.

Oh yeah, and i got DRUNK by accident. LOL I thought I ate enough before we went but apparently not. I had 4 or 5 champagnes and a glass of sangria and there was nothing left but the memories for me. LOL Try talking to vendors when you're loaded...it's pretty funny. LOL

But all in all, it was nice. And it was just so nice being there and giggling to myself that it's aaaaaall miiiine. :) Oh and I made an appointment with Bravura so i'm pretty stoked about that. :)

My Best Man was the SAME way!!!! Everyone on line was laughing at him!!! He sat down in a chair and couldnt get up! Then he was holding a plate in his hand for the chocolate fountain and DROPPED it!!! Im so glad it didnt break! Im not even gonna talk about going upstairs to see the photo studio. We all went up there and sat down to talk to a BM...two minutes later he walks in 'Are there anymore stairs!?' The champagne and sangria is a heavy hitter combo!!

Ok --- i just typed away and the computer logged me out. I can't stand when that happens. So anyway, I was there last night. It was very crowded and the lines were long but we sent my FH to wait on the lines for the food. I was really happy to see what the tables would look like with flowers. I was suprised to see how narrow they were. My sister Liz went up to one of the BM and asked them if the reception tables were wider but she said not wider but 20' longer. Now I was going to do low centerpieces but i don't think that is going to work anymore. It seems like it takes up to much sitting space. You can lose two place setting with a low centerpiece. She was trying to tell me that you could fit 10-12 people on the tables with the low centerpieces and I was trying so hard not to say 'Do you expect my guests to sit on each other' Did any of you feel that way or am I the only one ? But other than that the food was great and the drinks were to

Are those the tables we will be having at our wedding? Yeah right??. Those were really long. But long is good. I was looking at the CP's and some of them almost reached the ceiling. I want high CP's but not that high, it wouldnt look right. Go with the smaller CP's, they would look so much better. So those tables fit 10-12 people, that is kinds uncomfy when people want to eat and put theri elbows on the tables, lol. I think I want 8-10 pp at the tables.
