Any of my fellow WM brides going tonight? I'm taking my mom, brother and MOH with me since FH has to work tonight. I rsvp'd for the 6:30pm start time. I'm excited to visit the venue again! Going to take some pics to send my grandma in CA. She's 83yrs old and nervous about flying in for the wedding, so I figured I'd start getting her excited about it now lol.

Thanks Angie! I'm also hoping they'll have some of the upgrade food there to try. I really want to get the Smokehouse Station for Jason...bbq ribs, mac & cheese, pulled pork sliders and bbq chicken...I think he would love it, but I just want to make sure it tastes good first. I've heard that WM sometimes offers discounts on upgrades at the showcases so that would be awesome too!
You guys lived in Texas! No wonder he loves BBQ lol.. I think we get a 25% discount on upgrades if we upgrade at a showcase, but I'm not sure if it applies to Westbury Manor as well. Might definitely be something to look into

I will be there at 6:30 with my mom & sister (MOH). FH is at the Yankees game tonight. He hated the last showcase. The mixer was more his speed- less people haha. I have everything booked aside from invitations-so we really are going to look at the grounds & eat haha

If we got 25% off, I'd probably do several updates! Lol. I really want to add a nice seafood display too. And a pasta course!
The funniest part is that, when we lived in TX, Jason was vegan. So, he didn't even get to try any of the BBQ until we went back to visit his family in San Antonio a few years ago! When we went back to Dallas, where we lived, this past March for the engagement, we found so many awesome BBQ joints that were so close to our old apartment. He was kicking himself for missing out all those years! LOL

We are skipping the showcase since we have all of our vendors booked but have a blast!!!!!
It was great! They were giving 20% off and throwing in something free (like the sangria station) if you booked 2 or more things. We only got the smokehouse since we had already done the mashed potato bar. The mac & cheese bar was pretty interesting too!

Me, FH, my sister and me went tonight. We didn't do any upgrades this time as we only wanted two of them and we were lucky to have them on the upgrade list at the last showcase so we scored our 20% off and free station then. I lived that we got to see grounds finally. I did like a centerpiece I seen at one of the florist and will have to see about it. Another centerpiece I seen by another florist was nice but not worth the price. The vendor said it would be 350-500 for this specific one. I almost choked when he said that.
