westbury manor tonight

Anyone who has already been to a westbury manor showcase, what goes on there exactly? Is there food? I have no idea. hehe thanks!

I have been to a showcase last year. They do serve apps and drinks and all of their vendors have tables set up. You can walk around and also see some of their upgrades (ex: Martini Bar, Antipasto Bar, etc...). Francesco's usually has a setup where you can try different flavors of cake....its fun and you get to meet fellow Westbury Manor brides I will be there tonight if you end up going find me and say hi!!!!

I was THERE!!!!
The food was great and the number of vendors, AWESOME. What did you think about the cake? The yellow Sponge was good. We didn't care for the others though.

I was there! It was fun. I agree about the cake, I didn't even try the chocolate cake but fiance said it wasn't good. The yellow cake was good and I liked all the fillings. Did anyone add anything?

We forgot to put in our ticket for the raffle...
I tried everything in the filing department! The white chocolate filling complemented the yellow sponge cake very well. The fillings were good.

The marble cake was dry, super dry! I took a tiny bite and big NO! My mom was there as well she didn't like it either. The carrot was OK, but FH didn't like it. Chocolate we didn't like.

haha really? im surprised because we weren't there that long. It was a big mistake bringing my dad, he is so impatient with stuff like that and he moved us along quickly! hehe

Last night was fun I agree about the cakes...very disappointed Not sure what to do now....I am going to visit the bakery and see if it maybe taste better there? I didn't upgrade last night but I already have the Martini Bar, Tropical Drinks and Mashed Potato Bar The Take me Home was cute but I feel like I have so much already I don't want to over do it and plus budget is tight. What did you ladies add? Is anyone having their ceremony there?

That's Dad's for you! Mine was asking us, why are you going to an expo? The wedding isn't for another year...
So mom told him, sure let's wait until 2 weeks before like WE did because you didn't want to plan

Well I was there late we got there around 7:45 and left at 9:15sh. It was my fh, his mom my mother and I.
Maybe it was you or just someone who looked like you..hehe.

Extremely disappointing.
We're considering getting our own cake from another bakery because it was so bad. I didn't add anything because I'm not big into sweets and FH doesn't care too much for the adds either.
Did you ladies like the bag? I thought it was cute. 'Getting Married'

What the Take Me Home?? I already have the martini bar. I'd love the mashed potato bar but my budget says no :( I was supposed to go last night but ended up not going. Did I miss anything new? I went to the last one a couple of months ago.

yeah what is the take me home?

we have the martini bar also. My dad is obsessed with adding the tuscany thing and the seafood market. I'm the one trying to tell him its too much! and after last night my dad wants the chocolate fountains. Im probably the only bride that has to keep my father in line.

i was disappointed with the cake, but its not something that will bother me too much.
