Westbury Manor - update

I don't recall who asked but I did say I would post after my friend's wedding at the Westbury Manor. Well here are the details. It was a beautiful flawless wedding. The bride and groom looked beautiful and dashing respectfully. The Westbury is gorgeous the grounds are incredible and the service was excellant our waiter was very attentive and met our tables needs. The bride and groom couldn't be happier. There were two brides that night and we only saw the other bride at the end of the night when we were leaving. It was a great wedding. Any questions?

Westbury Manor - update

Thanks for the info and keeping this place in mind! I think it was me who asked this question a while ago. I actually booked this place for next year. It sounds like you had a great time. A couple of questions: How was the food at the cocktail hour and dinner? What room were you in? Did you feel cramped or the ceilings to low? What centerpiece did your frind choose? Thanks

Westbury Manor - update

The ceilings were a nice height she had french doors leading out ot a garden and windows all around the room. We were not cramped at all and there were about 175 in the room. Do you want to know what type of food she had at the cocktail hour and reception? Here centerpieces were oval to fit the tables she used a florist for them not the Westbury. If I understand your question correctly.

Westbury Manor - update

I just had my wedding there on 7/29. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. We were allowed to get there early for pictures, and we weren't too rushed even though the other party was coming in shortly after. We had the same room Nicola is speaking of, not cramped at all. We were also given the library across the hall, where the bar is for overspill. I didn't get to eat much LOL, but my guests said the food at both the cocktail hour and reception was exceptional. We used very low, oval centerpieces with candles in the middle - made for a nice setting. We also used their chapel, and the ceremony was lovely. Colleen, the bridal attendent is the tops! I would definitely keep WEstbury in mind- a lot of bang for the buck!
