Westchester bride needs help

Hi ladies...want to start looking at ahhls but don't know how far out on the island they are, or where to begin!!!

We;re thinking:
Sancastle
Chataeu Briand
Douglaston Manor
Westbury Manor
Fox Hollow CC

Can these all be tackled on the same day? Am I nuts?

Westbury Manor, Fox Hollow and chateau briand can definitely all be done in one day->they are all pretty close to each other-only thing I know you need and appt for CB not sure about FH and WM

Sancastle you should also be able to do with the above, little further of a drive but still not too bad.

Douglaston Manor, I dont even know where it is so I cant really say

Douglaston manor is in Douglaston, Queens, close to the border with Nassau County

It's also close to the exit from the Whitestone and Throggs Neck bridge, so if you're coming from Westchester, you may want to start at Douglaston Manor and then go further east for the other halls

We had five scheduled for one day and had TONS of extra time because we didn't need the hour we scheduled for each for all of them. In fact, two of them we just drove in and out, because they weren't what we were looking for on first sight.

These are all do-able in one day . . . it's the same path we took, practically, or at least the distances are the same. \

Oh!! If you make appointments, do call and cancel as early as possible if you decide not to go in . . . We found out afterward that one of the five, because of a personal recommendation we were not aware of -- had gone way overboard and had a white glove service and full dinner ready for us.

I never said we wanted a tasting, and was never told this was happening, but felt SOOOO bad when we decided to eliminate the place because we didn't like it immediately!!! Who knew that was happening???? We had so many appointments, and didn't get a full meal at any of them, but leave it to us to blow off the one that went nuts for us. i still feel so horrible about it . . . . we found out like two days later.
