Would any Westchester brides be interested in a GTG? Maybe in White Plains?

I was actually pretty against being married in Westchester because I've been to so many weddings, anniversary parties, sweet 16, etc... that FH and I really wanted something a little different. The only place around here that I looked at was Tappan Hill in Tarrytown. Although it was gorgeous, it was ridiculously expensive, roughly $230 a plate! After tax I'm not paying much less now, but The Crescent has something Tappen Hill didn't... the beach!

Tappan Hill is amazing and was on my list to go and look at, but we went to Glen Island and it was the 2nd place we looked @ and we fell in love w/ it! We should def. do a g2g since there are alot of brides on here from Westchester!

I would love to have our own little GTG since it's not really convenient for me to attend the ones in LI. Any bar/restaurant in the area would be good for me. They actually just opened a new bar in WP in between Black Bear and Lazy Boy that's really nice. Maybe we'll do a happy hour type thing on a Thursday, weekends are tough for me. How does that work for everyone?

I've lived in Westchester my entire life, born in Yonkers, now living in the Scarsdale/Hartsdale area. Since I'm marrying a LI boy we're having the wedding out there .. but its nice to know there are some Westchester girls on here as well
