Re: Westchester ladies

I'm not getting married in Westchester however, I work there and will be moving there once we get married. Manor Park in Larchmont is BEAUTIFUL! They have gazebos and the water breaks on the rocks and has views of Long Isand. FM me if you need more info.
Good Luck!

Im not getting married there either but my fiance is from the bx. You can take pics at Glen Island (i think you need a permit for that). If i am correct something called the Pepsi company or something like that. And suppsoedly in the bronx people take pics at the monument in Pelham Bay Park. That however is a free for all last time i heard so if you get there and others are there you have to wait. They may have changed that now though

Hope this helps

I wish I knew the name of the park, but we are taking pics at a park that is right behind a local high school. It is 2 minutes away from my venue in New Rochelle and everyone usually goes there for pics. When I find out, I'll let you know.

Ohhh... that would be great. Let me know where it is located. It may be near my florist ( westchester floral-near a HS in Pelham).

Ok well I called up my RH today and asked them the name of the park that everyone uses for pics. She said its part of the New Rochelle High School and you don't need a permit or anything to take pictures there. From what I have seen, it is a really nice park - with a lake! HTH!

Yes, this is right off North Ave down the street from Iona College. Such a great backdrop!

I'm not getting married in Westchester, but live here now! There are beautiful grounds at PepsiCo in Purchase (down Anderson Hill Road, near White Plains). I don't know if you need a permit for pictures, but I know people can walk the grounds without a problem. There are lots of sculputres and stuff too.
