Westchester people...are there any parks where I can have a bbq?

Westchester people...are there any parks where I can have a bbq?

I am not a Westchester resident but I don't know any parks in the Bronx (except Orchard Beach, perhaps??) where I can have a bbq.

Any suggestions?

There is Tibbets, Macy Park in Ardsley, Glen Island in New Rochelle, but I'm not sure if you need the County Park pass for them or not

I know for Tibbetts ya do (at least to swim in the pool)...DH used to have a pass when he was a Yonkers resident but it expired and he's a Bronx resident now (with a Bronx driver's license). However his friend has one. If his friend can get his renewed we are in luck.

Is Tibbetts nicer than Glen Island (I'd think vice versa but just wondering).
