Has anyone been there lately? Fh and I want to go to Aruba and we are torn between the Hyatt and the Westin hotel now.
I know everyone's going to say the Hyatt all the way but I want to know truly what the difference is in both of the hotels besides the price.

We went to Aruba in November. Although we didnt' stay at either if we ever go back it would be at the Hyatt. The grounds are gorgeous, its all open air, live music at night and a super clean casino.

Hi! i actually stayed at the westin 2 years ago.
what i did not like was that because the westin is located towards the end of the beach strip, it was SO WINDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i dont know where or about the hyatt, but i can tell you the wind factor is higher at the westin. after speaking to my aunt who went to aruba many times, she agreed the westin has the worst windy factor. other than that, the hotel is nice, the seafood/steakhouse is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was at the Hyatt a couple of weeks ago and it was fantastic. Great hotel. Definitely recommend. I did a mini review on Aruba on another girl's post. Do a search for me and you'll find it. If not, let me know and I can give you the info.
