So I ordered my invites from www.mygatsby.com and I ordered extra cardstock so that I could make a monogramed belly band. When I printed the monogram out on the cardstock, the ink wouldn't dry! This did not happen with cardstock I bought from Michael's. Anyone else have this problem?

Re: Wet Ink!
How long did you wait? Did you try hitting it with a hairdryer?

Re: Wet Ink!
If the paper is metallic (stardream) and your printer is ink jet, then its not surprising. You can try to let it dry for a while (not sure if that will work) ... or try printing with a laser printer.

If its a metallic paper then I've heard that inkjet printers don't work well on them, and laserjet supposedly is better....sorry your having a problem!! that sounds really frustrating!!

Re: Wet Ink!
If I were you, I'd ask around with your friends if any of them has a laserjet, and print them out there instead (or at work if you can get away with it!!)

Does anyone know if Staples or a similar place will print stuff out for you on a laser printer?

I'm not sure if Staples does.....but you can try asking preshussmurf- her family owns an invitation store in Oceanside....they might offer this service. I looked there for invitations.....they are all so nice!!!
