WHAT?

is the most romantic thing / biggest surprise that FH has done for you? Aside from our engagements/proposals of course. The thread about the love letter got me thinking about this.

for the first vday we were 'together' (we were just starting dating), it had just snowed and he came to my house at 5 am with his friend and decorated the entire lawn with long stem red roses, boxes of chocolates, and stuff animals, the path was shoveled and he stuck roses lining the path and had this huge purple bow on my door (my fave color) with a card hanging from it, he also attacked my car with purple bows and stuffed animals lololllll , then he got cupid (his friend younger brother seriously in a diaper and wings) to come to my job every hour with flowers

Mine is when I was in school and broke and reallyyyy wanted an ipod for running at the gym. This was the end of summer I think and I figured I'd just wait til Christmas or my birthday. Well one day I went over to FH's and he told me he had a new song on his ipod for me to hear. He only gave me one earphone and I listened. Right then our wedding song started to play and I looked at him and said 'You already have this song on your ipod.' Then he held up the ipod and it was the squared shape one which was new at the time compared to the skinnier one that he had and then I knew that he got me one. I was so shocked at how he planned that out it was just so sweet and unexpected, I'll never forget it!!

OMG!!! That is the best!!!

When we first started dating, about a month after we met, I got a very bad cold. Mind you, at the time, I was working in a doctor's office, so I had every type of medication available to me.

I was at work one day (in January, during a snow storm) and FH showed up to my office (for the first time ever) with a plastic bag. The bag was full of cough drops, dayquil and nyquil. Then he hands me a box......I open it and inside of it is a 14K gold dipped rose! He drove through the snowstorm to give me medicine and a golden rose, when I could've got the medicine from my office where I already was!!!!

FH painted me a painting for V-day. this was so unexpected cause he said he will never paint again whenever I asked him to paint something for me, and by that point he hasnt painted for over 3 years. the craziest thing that he was doing this for a week in our garage and I had no idea! he painted me a lake from my country

great stories!!

my best was when i turned 25. we were only dating 5 months at the time, and FH planned a surprise party for me - invited family, friends and even OOT friends that came up!!

he got everyone in on it and i was totally blown away!!! i seriously didnt realize how much planning he did until a few days later (i thought my mom or MOH might have helped, but it was really all him!)

it was sooooo perfect!!!! and he picked a restaurant i loved too! everything was soooo awesome!!

oh, and the next day we had to go to a family function (his BIL's family) and he still got me a gift. a bracelet that is sooo me.

everything was perfect. and it definately made me realize he was the one!!

When we first started dating, FH was active in the Coast Guard was stationed in Sandy Hook, NJ....He had to do Friday 8am - Sunday 12pm with VERY little sleep. I wasn't feeling well on Friday and my family was on vacation, so there was nobody to bring me soup or anything. He drove alllllll the way to my house in LI, about an hour and a half, to surprise me, in his coast guard uniform , and bring me flowers and icecream and soup!!!!!!!!! He literally stayed for 5 minutes and had to drive all the way back to the station before he got in trouble!

Hmmmm I miss that uniform!

awwww How cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i had just moved into my friends/bm house. fh and i had only known each other for about a week.
so all my clothes were on the floor in a bedroom.
my friend had a dog and a cat. so when my shih tzu smelled there scent on my clothes that little fcuker decided to let them know whos boss by pissing all over my clothes!!!
fh took the day off from work with me and helped me take all my clothes to his house and wash them.

come to think of it i think that was the first and last time fh has done laundry.lol

When me and FH first started dating...on our first V-Day, he surprised me with 3 dozen roses...one for each month that we have been dating at the time then he surprised me with dinner at one of my favorite restaurants! I think i only mentioned it once and never told him where it was but he remembered and did his research! He doesnt try 'different' types of cuisine so at the rest. he had me order his whole meal..including drink!

Now every time we go back to that restaurant FH orders the same meal =)

OMG now i just remembered....on our 2nd V-Day, he somehow got into my house...and decorated my bedroom with roses & candles...petals neatly placed all over!! and a gift on my bed.

nothing really... lol... even our engagement wasn't romantic.. his 13 year old brother and his friend were there...

Then when I got closer I realized they were oragami roses and he made them all, wrapped green fabric around metal to make the stem and attached fake leaves to it also. I love this story!

Nothing romantic
He took very good care of me when I had surgery which is really the thing that has meant the most to me. He always cooks me dinner and has candles and a glass of wine waiting when I get home

FH is such a romantic.. we been together for 13 years sooo there are many cute stories.. but one of my favorites is when it was my 25th bday.. FH always gets me flowers and delivers them to my office on holidays.. but this time my bday was on a friday.. and on the monday before i got 5 roses and a note that said.. wanted to send u a little something early to start your bday week.. it was soo cute and im like why 5???? thats a weird number, lol. so then tuesday comes i get another 5 and another note sayin. ur bday is coming its almost here.. just sayin i love you.. so i thought aww how cute..but WHY 5?? LOL. then wed comes along and 5 more show up and another note saying something cute like .. are u catching on ? then finally I was like OHHH.. im gettin 5 a day and friday will total 25.. thats how old i am.. lol. apparently im not to bright, lol. soo thats what happened.. but on the last day the last 5 came.. and the card said.... 25 flowers for 25 years of beauty.. I love you.... happy birthday!!!

It was soo sweet.. the people in my office are like.. PPP--LLLEASE.... guys dont do that sort of thing.. especially after bein with someone soo long, lol..

I've never had a valentine before. I've always been very anti valentine's day and mostly celebrate it by going out to a bar with my best friend, whether or not we had a significant other. Well, on our first Valentine's Day together, FH decided to give me a proper V-day. When I got home he had cooked a delicious meal, got my favorite wine, lit about 100 candles all around my apartment, got all cute stuffed animals and candies, and even BAKED cookies. Then he topped it off by writing the most heartfelt love letter to me. I still cry when I read it.
