Is anyone using Ron Copabianco for a photographer?? Well in July I called and made an appt for Aug 14th. He wound up calling me twice that day bc he forgot that he already talked to me.
I wound up booking someone else, so on 8/10 I left a message to cancel the 8/14 appt. Today is the 19th, and he just called me to find out if we were still meeting this coming weekend!!! I was like...HELLO..our appt was on 8/14 and I cancelled.
If he's this unorganized with appts, I can't imagine how is the on the actual wedding day!!

Re: What a dingbat!
I had the same experience with Tommy Tunes! They could not get the date straight to meet-don't need that stress! And they kept calling me daily to reschedule with no memory of calling me the day before! Not the brightest people. Anyway-I went with Absolute Entertainment in Sayville. Very helpful- I feel I made a good choice.

i had a similar experience with duet the woman told me the date was prob booked and would call me back she called me back 4 days later and asked me why I missed by 11am appt, I stated which appt you said you might be booked for my day and never called me back..she was like hmm I think im getting all of my brides confused these pasts few months, sorry. I then though wow glad I didnt book her, she then proceeded to call me twice more wondering why I had missed other supposed appts, very strange woman..lol... def beware

Ron was actually the first photographer with whom I met. I was SHOCKED that he wanted to charge $5000 for my wedding--for just him. First, while he has extensive experience in fashion photography (from what he said), he has not done that many weddings. Second, his office was not impressive enough for him to charge that much. I know that it's just a work space, but photographers are supposed to be about visual presentation and beauty--it was very cluttered and 1970's--not in the cool retro way either.

Some vendors amaze me, I know they are busy and hectic but c'mon, get a planner and a good secretary ( for what they charge they should be able to!) I had this experience with BodyRock(dj)..After their 4th call mixing up appointments...Calling to thank me for booking( NEVER MET WITH THEM) I stopped picking up the phone when they call , and they STILL do..The DJ's may be good but the secretarys need some serious help..
