What a freaking day! Mike Might have meningitas (sp?) and my nephew almost drowned. Update.. Im going to take Mike to the hosptial. This is so crazy.

What a freaking day! Mike Might have meningitas (sp?) and my nephew almost drowned. Update.. Im going to take Mike to the hosptial. This is so crazy.

Mike is really sick. Hes had 102 fever since yesterday! My SIL's neighbor is a Dr. So he came over and looked at mike gave him a prescription and said if he doesnt get better by Weds. He will have to goto the hospital to have a spinal tap! He said it sounds like it could be a sinus problem but with a high fever and headache it could be meningitas (sp) the only symptom he doesnt have is stiff neck!

My brother and nephew and my parents came over today to mikes sisters and I went in the pool and held my nephew. At dinner time my nephew decided he wanted to go swimming. My brother was cutting up his food and in a split second he heard splash. My brother jumped in after him clothes and all (wallet sneakers everything) the baby was fine went back to eating and said I went swimming didnt even cry. THANK GOD! My poor brother felt like crap though. He said he felt like a bad dad. It wasnt his fault it was a split second!

OMG What a day! Thank God your nephew was OK...I'm a little jealous that it was warm enough to go swimming!!!!!

When are you guys supposed to come back? What are you gonna do if Mike is sick?

LOL ya it was like 90 today.. And BTW they still had the heat on in the pool.. We are suppose to come back on Thursday but if mike isnt better by then we wont be back on thursday. I can't believe he is this sick I feel so bad. His sister wouldnt even let him leave. We are staying at her house tonight.

He is a sleep so hopefully his fever will break. He took it and it was 103.

I hope he feels better! I am glad your nephew is okay- pools scare me- a teacher in my school district lost her 2 year old son 2 years ago to a pool incident . . .

I'm so glad your nephew is ok. I hope your Dh doens't have meningigits. I thought I had it once because I got VERY sick after spending time in the control room at the theatre with somsone who was very sick and went home b/c he thought he had meningitis (he'd had it before) it turned out it was a bad infection of the lymph nodes, so I hope Mike has something similar and NOT meningitis. *hugs*

what a scary day yesterday you had with your nephew i am glad he is ok! I hope Mike doesn't have menigitis lots of prayers that he gets better soon.
