What a *****! Just had to vent...

So, I just finished my liweddings website (which I LOVE) and wanted to send it out to my family that is coming to the wedding because it has out of town info, directions, etc.

Anyway, I send it to my one cousin, and this is her first response:
'In interested of time, are you even still registered at those places' (sort of giving me a nonchalant subtle hint of my upcoming bridal shower in two weeks)

When I responded 'yes' she writes this back:

'Ok. Thanks. You can take me off the website list thing - nothing personal. Too many work and personal e-mails to go through on a daily basis.
I am doing very well. Went to Alaska, going to London and maybe a weekend in Memphis then maybe Boston. Very busy. Gotta run - work is nuts.'

I know she said nothing personal, but I did take it personal! Mind you, I only sent her an email to my website ONCE. She made it sound like I am sending her weekly updates. Also, we only talk once or twice a year, and she came off like she doesn't have any time to hear from me.

Sorry to be whiney, but I guess I have so much going on right now that the littlest thing hurts my feelings! ha.

Is anyone else ultra sensitive?

Wow, that's kind of rude! Especially since you don't send out a lot of emails.

I don't blame you for taking it personally.

Not just rude but I take it as 'show offy'...is that a word?
Who cares where she's been? Why didn't she comment about your wedding since you sent her a wedding website? Competitive much? UGH!

i have a friend like that...writes these emails so nonchalantly mean...'i'm so busy..i'm doing x, y &z, and gotta run to go do this .. busy busy busy...'

I find these emails so impersonal and snotty.

That was very rude. She has a bug up her butt. If I were in your situation, I would not be able to stop myself from sending a witty, but obnoxious reply.

Um.....thats really rude and I have to say I'm glad you only speak to her 1x or 2x a year. You don't need that kind of person in your life! My goodness, taht was tacky!

I have asked people to stop sending me stuff, but only after receiving TONS of stupid jokes and getting a lot of spam afterwards. If it was just one email, can't she just delete it and move on to her other very important emails?

I'd probably be a little annoyed, but don't let it bother you too much. She sounds pretty self absorbed.
