what a relief!!!

we finally got our hotel block booked!!!! after months and months of trying and getting frustrated when people didnt return calls (whats up with that anyway?? dont these vendors want our money?? ) we finally booked the Fairfield Inn in Syosset, me and FH have stayed there before its a very nice hotel plus there giving our guests complimentary breakfast for a really good price i couldnt be happier so glad to get this weight off my shoulders!!

now i just gotta get limos done and i'll be pretty good to go!!

dont you get a free night at fox hollow??

we got a free night for us at the fox hollow but the prices of the fox hollow are so damn high i just couldnt do that to my guests especially because most are coming from the midwest and would die of shock if they were asked to pay $200+ for a hotel room for one night

also fox hollow left a real bad taste in my mouth because when you block rooms they make you sign a contract giving your credit card information to them saying that you will be charged for any rooms in your block that arent booked, unless you have 75% of the block booked, which is a big *** so basically those rooms are back open to the public and can be booked by anyone yet im still paying for them? so that means the hotel can potentially get paid twice for the same room!!! i hate to bad mouth them becuase i love the catering hall but that sounds like a big old scam to me!!! be careful ladies when you book hotel blocks no hotel should EVER request a credit card and charge you a fee or any kind for blocking rooms. any rooms you block that go unbooked by your guests are open to the public a month before your date so if anyone says you need to pay for them tell them their crazy and walk out. just some advice.
