What a relief, one less thing to do...

I just got back from my jeweler.
I got FH diamond studs to give him on the morning of our wedding!
He will 'find' them while he is getting ready.
I must say they are so beautiful!
I also got my MOH something with diamonds, but I won't post what in case her nosey behind ever reads these boards lol.
I got awesome prices too! I am so relive this is out of the way! No I need to hide his earing since we live together , don't feel like going to the safety deposit box <---lazy!

That's a great gift for you FH -- I was going to get that for my DH, but his mother beat me to it! I ended up getting him a camcorder, but after we were married!! And I'm also impressed with how much you've gotten done! I was Miss Organized until the end and then I was frantically running around looking for gifts and not liking anything! Good for you!!!

So, are me, Licia and you neighbors? Although I'm in Maspeth, it's the almost same thing! LOL :)

yea the 3 of us are neighbors!!! we gotta meet up at the park one day!
when we first booked the hall & church, it was a year and a half away, it is now 10 months, but the reason we did it is because like alot of people we are paying it all ourselves, so every month we pay little by little on the hall, buy bubbles, buy whatever we can as we go along. makes it easier and we are not financially strapped this way due to the million other expenses, rent, 3 cars, insurance....you know how it is.

I totally agree with you! And we did the same thing! I used to get mad at people who would say 'why are you giving the hall all your money now' or any other vendor -- um, HELLO, this is their policy and this way when the time comes, it's a lot less out of our pockets all at once. Although I have to tell you, when you do your final payment, you leave there in a daze because you just forked over all this cash and the reality REALLY hits you!!! But it's the greatest feeling and it's worth every bit of aggrevation, stress and panic attacks!! I still can't believe it's going to be a year!! It went soooo fast and last year at this time, I was flipping out between finalizing everything and doing our apt. (we live downstairs from his grandmother and practically gutted the whole thing out). I was living in Home Depot and I felt like we should've been in the 'wedding mode' and not 'Bob Vila mode'. But it all worked out. Enjoy every minute of it!! It'll be great if at the end you can just sit back and relax and really enjoy it!!! At the end for me, I was so stressed because I felt everything wasn't going to come together and I'm so anal and organized, that I felt it got out of my control and I wasn't the typical 'I'm getting married' in a week bride. I wanted to kill everyone, especially my DH!!!! But the day of the wedding I became the happy bride and the b***** was gone!!! LOL :)

Ok, I've babbled enough! I'm outta here and off to Macy's to go buy sheets!! Domestic life, ain't it great? LOL :)

We definetly should meet at the park...We can vent and/or be excited in person.
I have a while but i want to make sure every thing can be paid and we don't have to worry about being in debt when we firts get married...
