What a weekend!

OK so FH made it through is bachelor party though he nursed one heck of a hangover. We had to be in temple this morning so we could be called to the Torah in honor of our wedding (Aufruf) bright and early. It was a lovely ceremony concluding with the congregation throwing candy at us so we have a sweet life. During the Shabbat service, I had to say the Mourner's Kaddish for my father twice. It was not easy. I also had to say a prayer for the healing and call out my mom's name. It was just another reminder that things arent what they should or could be but life does go on and the happiness supercedes the sadness.

Afterwards, our families went out for a lovely brunch sponsored by FH's parents. Poor FH was still nursing his hangover but did so like a trouper! At that point, my sisters and my SIL and I went to the mall to go shopping. My sisters must have overheard me earlier saying I had no clothes for my honeymoon so one of them handed me cash saying that since Mom couldnt take me for my trousseau, that they felt I should have one anyway. Id just have to get it myself. SO AWESOME!!!

We happened to be in Cache and I saw this jacket on the sale rack. Um what could be better than THIS for my winter wedding next week!


Then we popped on over to Swarovski and picked me up one of these:


I am so excited! My countdown says 6 days!
