What a weekend!
Hi,
I'm so excited! I had the best weekend. Not only did my fiance and I have our engagement party, we found the wedding ceremony place of our dreams. I'm so excited...we checked out so many places to get married, but nothing compared to our original destination wedding idea. The place is called Ocean Place Resort in NJ---about an hour from NYC....the resort looks like it should be picked up and placed in Florida. I can't wait to get more details about it. We went there today, but was unable to speak with a BM. The resort has a great pier restaurant next to it, a boardwalk, a beach, a shopping village, etc. It's perfect for us. I feel like we get to keep our destination wedding without the worry of flights or major travelling time. After the ceremony, it's close enough for us to have our reception back home so everyone could join us. If you are looking for a great weekend away, check it out.
As for our engagement party, it was absolutely wonderful. I will never forget this weekend!!!!!
