Three of my close friends (2 are BM's) came to visit from PA this weekend. Saturday we spent at the beach and pool, and Sunday was BM dress shopping.
Well, of course after we found 2 really nice BM dress options, they forced me into gowns at David's Bridal in Massapequa. I was reluctant to do it, but I figured it would make them happy and maybe I would find something nice.
Well, I may have found 'the one' but am still keeping my Aug dress appointments. I am happy to say I lived to tell about my 1st dress shopping experience. You all know how reluctant/nervous I have been to start this part of the planning.

Thank you! I tried on about 5 dresses, and this was by far, the best. I could walk down the aisle in this, but want to check out two more stores before making a final decision.
Cant even believe I put dresses on, let alone may have found the One.

I love it all! The BM dresses, the colors, and your (potential) dress! It's gorgeous. It reminds me of a casablanca that I quietly regret never getting to try on lol (this one )
ETA: Are you going to go with multiple colors for the BMs? It's so cute! :)

funny you mention Casablanca bc I have about 8 gowns printed and most are that brand. I am definitely going to try as many as I can find in plus samples. They will cost more than the David's gown but if they make me feel even prettier, it's worth it.
No, we are going with the hot pink/Watermelon color. There is another dress we found at Village Bridal earlier in the day, that is definitely a consideration too. It really will depend on what I wear, but I think the girls really loved the David's gown best.

I love it! I got my dress there too! I was actually there satutday to pick up my slip! Davids bridal is stepping it up!
Love the pink bm dress...the purple might be a bit muted for a pink that bright...are u looking at both or one color?

no, only going with Watermelon. I hate anything lavender in BM gowns due to an unfortunate gown I had to wear many moons ago. lol
Its a great fuschia color and will mix with my flowers and decor really nicely.
If, by chance, we do wind up with the other BM dress (see link in previous post), it would be in Plumeria which isnt on the webpage but is a hot pink too. Very pretty for summer!

Yeah, your gown 'feels' very much like a Casablanca gown, style-wise! It's beautiful! If you do decide to try on some Casablancas, depending on which style you end up with, it could actually be cheaper than DB! Mine was 800 (before hallow to hem measurements, bustle and alterations... after will still be around 1200 though, which I know is in the range of some DB dresses!)
I love both of your BM dress choices! The back is gorgeous!!! I actually kind of want it... not for my BMs but just to wear! lol. You have some lucky maids!

This dress was so reasonably priced and SO pretty in person that it's been on my mind for the past 24 hours. I still really do want to hit the other 2 stores in August, but I will def go back to see this gem.
