What About a LIW DOG GTG?!?!?!!?!

That would be awesome, but where???

I have seen on a TV show- animal plant where they had a cafe just for people and their pets. I wonder if we have something like this on LI.

oh... well im sure theres somewhere on LI everyone can meet up... i was referring to the city, cuz we could just all meet up at a dog park, but let me think of some places for LI..... Heckshire State Park? Someones house? I'm sure you all can make it work! And, if its on a day off for me i will go to the LI one too, i have to get out there to see my mom anyway :)

Hecksher does have a dog park. I'm not sure about anywhere else though, but I think it's a great idea!

There are dog parks in:

Bay Park (that park separates the big and little dogs)
Wantagh Park
Cedar Creek Park
Christopher Morley Park
Nickerson Beach

I'm in. I have 3 dogs and I can't bring them all, so I will post pics soon and let you guys choose. I have a:
Spitz/Chow mix
Beagle/Corgi mix (we call him the 50lb beagle)
Black Lab/Norwegian Elkhound mix

I was thinking that a LIW doggie GTG would be a really fun way to meet each other and our babies! Alas, I don't even have my dog yet - but I'm totally up for one once we can take little Golem home!

Another idea for a location is Coindre Hall in Huntington. They have a HUGE lawn right behind the mansion that's all for dogs - and I'm talking TONS of space for our pups to run around! Craig and I were up there last month and it's just beautiful - very well maintained too! It's such a nice place for dogs to run and play, and much nicer than some of the fenced in concrete pens that the other parks have as dog runs. I can't wait to bring Golem when he's old enough!

I have heard of this place too but I could never bring Murphy there, he would run away and never come back.

IM always there as well, my doggie LOVES it there, i was looking at your pics, i'm not sure if i recognize your doggies, I love that place, its so perfect for them and kept very clean
