What about??? The Lake Ronkonkoma Indian Princess??

Did anyone ever hear of that story??
It happened in the 1940's during the war.
She loved an american soldier, and her father didn't approve. He murdered him one night. She tied weights to her feet and through herself in the water. So anyway, every year a male dies in that lake, swimming.

Who knows??
It was in the paper a while back,
Just wanted to share

I just found this. When I was in 12th grade my friends boyfriend drown in Lake Ronkonkoma. He had actually survived being accidently set on fire the yr. prior, was just recovered and he died when he fell out of a canoe at night while in the lake.
