My question is -- how is a veil worn with a style like this? I don't want to cover the curls, but on the other hand, I wouldn't want to go without a veil.......any ideas??

I don't know about the veil, but it is really pretty. I would ask the hair stylist when you go for a trial.

I think it's pretty BUT....

a friend of mine did something similar for her wedding. When she first got it done in the morning it looked beautiful...but......it slowly began to flop throughout the day/night. I don't know if it was her hair type or the time of year (june) but, it didn't hold well and in many of her wedding pictures, her hair kinda looks...blah...nothing special....just like any other day.......and by the end of the night....it didn't look so great.
she would die if she ever knew i said this! yikes!!! just being honest though....it's something to consider when choosing 'wedding hair'.....
