What age

What age is the perfect age to get married? I got married at the age 26 and my husband is 27. We been dating since I was 16 and he was 17 for 10 years. We have been enaged for 7 years. I just knew when the time was right.

I don't think there is one. It's meeting the right person and being the right person that is important (IMO).

I always said I wasn't going to get married until I was like 30.
Well, I am getting married next year, and I'll be 25....and I think its perfect timing (for me & FH).

I think in your mid to late 20's. Its funny b/c I am only 23. Some people may say Im too young, but I know I love my FH and thats all that matters.

I completely agree... I am not getting married because I am 27 (28 by our wedding date) but because I want to spend my life with FH

i dont think there is a perfect age either. its all about when you meet the perfect person for you and you just feel it, you just know you have to be with this person and no one else

my fiance and i are both 19.. 20 at wedding date.

i hear 'you're too young' ALL THE TIME!

i don't think i am. i know it's the right time, and obviously he does too, since he got down on one knee almost a year ago to ask me.

my parents were married at 16 and 21, and will be married for 20yrs. in November. they're only 36 and 41. they knew it was the right time. and they trust me and that's pretty much all that counts.

I was two months shy of 22 and dh had just turned 24. 7 years and 2 kids later, we're still as happy as we were on our wedding day. So I guess that was the perfect age for us!

I think it's an individual thing too...Personally I'm gld I waited..I always wanted to be the young bride and then mom, but I will be two months shy of 30 when I get married and I still feel pretty immature...lol...sO i know I may have made a mistake if I had done it any earlier...people change a LOT during their 20's...I think that it may be a difficult time to get married in..for everyone...but it would also test your love...

I don't believe there is a right age I think it all depends on when it feels right for that person...I always wanted to be a 'young bride' but if I would have gotten married any younger (i will be 26 when I get married) I know it would have been a mistake...I was not set in my career nor was I 100% sure of what I wanted...Now I know that I am marrying my soulmate & I am 100% ready
