Dogs are usually neutered at 6 months. I waited til 8 months for Scooby and by then he was marking all over the house. Thankfully he stopped after the surgery, but I hear that some get in the habit and neutering doesn't help.

Did you see the thread about the two different types of neutering? Please be smarter than I was and ask the vet about them both and which one he will be doing and why. I'd love to hear what he tells you.

We had Baby spayed at 6 1/2 months.
