What Airline did everyone fly on for their HM?

My FI has never flown before and just wanted to get everyone's experience you had with the airlines you flew on.

As a former travel agent I have flown nearly every airline. I love American and Continental, Delta is ok, Northwest was fine. But I HATE HATE HATE America West! Absolutley horrible, the flight attendants were so nasty!

BIWI and Air Jamaica are great, except when I flew to St. Lucia on BIWI they served Chicken Parmigian at 7:00AM

We'll be flying Jet Blue for our honeymoon, never flown with them....but I hear good things

We travelled to Hawaii on Continental. I loved that everyone had their own tv & several movies to choose from.

We are flying Jet Blue and I love them...I have also flown Southwest, Air Jamaica and America West with no problems. I'm not a big fan of American Airlines.

We flew on American Airlines to Hawaii with no problems.

We are going on a cruise leaving from ft.lauderdale.

Our schedule is to fly out of ISP on Delta arrive in Ohio. Leave Ohio on Delta Arrive is FLL.

Coming home Leave on USAir arrive in Philly. Leave Philly in a 'bombardier dehavilland dash 8 turboprop' It's a small plane. Capacity 37 people.
It's only a 1hr flight back to ISP from Philidelphia.

Has anyone flew in a small plane before??

We flew Jet Blue (we have flown it many times to Fla and CA in the past) and it was great!! We have alos flown Delta often and like them too. We're not big fans of American either...

We are flying American to CA and from CA to Tahiti we are flying Air New Zealand.

We flew Continental to Hawaii - it was very nice, that was our first time on that ariline.

I have flown America West twice to Las Vegas and had no problems.

i hated america west too. i flew them to phoenix and on the way back we had to change plans in newark (we were going to providence as a final destination). well somehow our luggage didn't get checked through, and somehow we found out before leaving newark, though looking back i can't remember how. anyway, we had to run down to baggage claim, get our bags and then recheck them in to providence. it was a royal pain in the butt. at least that was back in the day when it took five minutes to get through security.

also if i'm not mistaken i flew them to las vegas two years ago and on the way back that time they had a school group on my flight. turned out they assigned seats to the school group that had already been assigned to other people. it was mega chaos, the plane was already like two hours late and the stewardesses were totally at a loss about what to do. eventually everyone just sat wherever, but it cost us at least another half hour in delays. i'll check with fi to make sure it was america west though.

i also do not like northwest and have heard they have a horrible reputation for being late. i waited for five hours in tokyo to get on my plane to ny, after a VERY long two week trip to china, not fun!!

We are flying American to LA and then to Hawaii.

I just flew American to San Diego last month and it was so comfy...The seats are much wider than they used to be

I ususally fly a couple of times a year -I recommend -American, delta, Jet blue - From there Continental is ok - but they lost my bags on 2 different trips so not something I would be happy about.

If you are going to florida - check out Southwest - it is a no frills like jet blue - but I know people who have had good experiences (I have no personal experience there)but the prices are good.

If you are going to europe you can also check out Lufthansia, british air (in addition to american and delta)

I DO NOT RECOMMEND UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES Northwest airlines - there is a reason that EVERYONE I know calls them Northworst airlines. I have had 3 bad experiences with them cancelling planes constantly for repairs, flights always late with the connections leaving 10 mins early. FH has flown them 3 times b/c they are the cheapest from Detroit (their MAJOR hub) and he has not had a single good experience yet (but they are 60-100$ less and at 250$ a ticket that extra money is prohibitive for him to see me so he has no choice often)

We are flying American when we go to Hawaii. We have been on many airlines and the only major problem we have had is if there were weather problems that caused a delay.
I have been on America West and have had no problems.

We're flying American to Hawaii with a stop in LA and then a stop in Chicago on the way home. We always fly American when we can- they have the added leg room which FI needs since he's 6 feet tall!
