We have stainless steel heart topped wine stoppers they are very pretty. And we got a real bargin on them. That's not the reason I picked them but hey it didn't hurt!! Andrea

Ooohhh, sounds nice.
We are making a donation in my father's name in lieu of a favor. I think its a fabulous idea. And we have lotto tickets for our guests.

Votive candle holders with a Yankee Candle. Here's a picture of how mine looked on a table at the wedding.
We are (as of now) going to do little white favor boxes with orange starbursts in it! Not sure how I'll 'Dress' it up!

You can do what I'm doing. My favors come in white gift boxes too. So we wrapped them in wrapping paper that matched my color scheme and put our personalized bows on top.

I had actually seen the boxes on the Martha Stewart website with layered ribbon and a personalized label/sticker on it. Don't think I will do that.
Wrapping them sounds good! BTW, I love wrapping 'presents!'
Seeing as we'll be using Starburst, any clue when is too soon to prepare them?

We'll have the heart shaped coffee scoops and as an added item, we will have bags of Starbucks coffee on the table, so instead of just the center piece being brought home, someone else will get coffee too!
I will also fill the coffee scoops with M&M's (after Easter sale ones, that is) and have the personalized ribbon on them too. Can't wait to start putting those together!

I wouldn't do them to far in advance maybe like 6 weeks before or even a month maybe. You might want to call the 800 number on the package and ask how long the stay fresh out of the package.

We're doing a donation in lieu of traditional favors...and we're also doing clear boxes with jordan almonds in them (the almonds will match our colors, silver and powder blue).

We are thinking of doing these mini albums as a placecard/favor, containing pictures and sayings about love. They are new from the Knot shop, $2.50-2.75 (they are currently on sale) each.
We are either donating money to the American Cancer Society or giving out the Lance Armstrong 'Live Strong' bracelets, where the money will also go to charity. FI and I wear our every day and we like the idea of donating money to charity AND letting the guests take something home. I have no idea how I will present/wrap them though!
