Rice? Flower petals? Leaves? Confetti?

OR

Bubbles? Wands?

And how are you distributing these things? Is someone handing them out? Are they in a basket near the entrance of your Church/Synagogue/Chapel?

I love hearing everyones ideas! I can't make up my mind, I just know i want SOMETHING thrown at FH and I! But not tomatoes.

Defintely rose petals in white and I will have them in little organza bags and have my neice hand them out and my nephew will be standing next to her with the wedding program. They are not in my wedding party but I thought this was a great way to get them involved.

I was at a wedding this summer and they threw lavendar - it was really beautiful.

we're having a slight movie theme so we thought it would be cool to have like yellow/orange/white rose petals thrown at us to look like popcorn and they'd be in mini movie theater popcorn boxes.

at least, this is the thought for now.

We are not allowed to throw rose petals oustide the church. I may look into the lavendar that someone mentioned or maybe birdseed.

I do know that whatever people will be throwing are going to be in 2 big cornucopias located in the back of the church. I found them at Michael's really cheap, as well as a basket for my programs.

but church wise... nothing (we're not doing the receiving line, so were gonna fly out the door to go take pics... so they wont be waiting outside for us)
