What are ribbon wands?

I have been seeing alot of brides using ribbon wands, what do you use them for? I think it is a cute idea.

I've seen them in reviews too. I think Kristen (she was kBr, but for some reason I think she changed her SN) had them at her wedding. It was a DIY project.

these are the ones i bought, i'm waving them at the church. what ever is left of i'm brining to the reception and give out on the dance floor

We can't throw anything outside of our church and I hate the idea of bubbles so I got these also. They look great in pics.

I have pics of mine in my album under wedding stuff
