We are doing bridal shower bingo when my friend opens her gifts, just to spice it up. I ordered the cards and they are cute!

every shower i have been to whether it be bridal or baby...there has bingo.. i think that is the only one i know of

They have a site which you can buy these from but I do not have handy right now. I will post the link later on. They have scratch games like lottery tickets and you can give one to each guest to scratch and the one that gets the prince, is the winner. Your MOH or whoever is giving the party can prepare a gift to give to the winner. I thought this was a good idea and something a bit different than the bingo.

At a friends shower we played Bingo, did a wedding word jumble and we did the purse grab (bride yells out an item and the first person to find it in her purse wins). I actually made the cards for these myself in Word so if anyone wants to see them, I can send them to you and you can just change the brides name and print them out on any kind of paper you want. We played all these game and everytime there was a winner we gave them one of those plastic gold wedding bands that you can buy in bags of like 200 for $2.99. The people with the most rings got prizes at the end.

At my sister's shower we did Bingo..and we also gave out prizes for the 3 weirdest things people had in their bags!

At a friend's shower we played this game where everyone wore a name tag that had a word that was somehow related to the wedding (brides name, the name of the church, honeymoon, dress, grooms name), and if you said the word on your name tag and someone else caught you you had to give it up to that person - the person with the most nametags at the end of the shower wins a prize. The difficult part was once you got all of those nametags, you had to be very careful about what you said because everyone was trying to 'get you'. It really broke the ice with a lot of people who didn't know each other.
Another game is to ask the groom 15-20 questions, and then see if the brides answers match up. All the guests can guess how many answers the bride will get right, and/or play along to see how well they know the bride and groom. (This one was a lot of fun also, and everyone was laughing - so ask goofy questions!)

Mom and I were talking about bridal shower games, I said the questions one would be easy we have been together for 11 years. She quized me with one question: Who is his favorite superhero. I had no idea, and I could not stop laughing. I know now... It should be a good game.

We played all the above games at my shower and it kept everyone interested during the gift opening, which is sometimes very long and boring. One other game my mom did was she had a timer go off every ten minutes, and whoever's gift was being opened when it went off, won a prize.

At my shower we did trivia (questions to see how well guests knew me) and 'Who has the heaviest pocketbook?' I also went to a shower once where everyone was given a plastic clothespin to put on their shirt as they got to the party. For the rest of the afternoon, we couldn't say 'wedding, marriage, or the groom's name'. If anyone caught us saying it they could take our pin, and we could take someone else's if they said it. The object was to collect as many pins as you could from other people. It was hilarious!!
