I stayed at Outrigger Waikiki Beach and that is where we are staying when we go back to Oahu in August. the front door of the hotel is on kalakaua ave (the main street in waikiki) and the back of the hotel, you walk right onto waikiki beach. it's right next to the royal hawaiian (they have really good pineapple drinks). there is also a good restaurant in the hotel (duke's)

Thanks Ladies!!! I heard about the Outriggers. It was actually highly recommended by the delta vacations specialist.

Definitely the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach. DH and I have stayed there 3 times - we love it.
