What are some options other then coursages?

What are some options other then coursages?

Anyone not doing coursages for the ladies and readers? If not what are you doing? For my Mom I wanted something a bit different for her other then a coursage and I came up with the idea to pin flowers to her handbag. So I spoke to John and he is going to make a coursage on a pin so we can pin it to her handbag. But for the readers, etc I am not sure what to do. I don't think I want coursages for them either. But I can't think of anything to make them stand out. Here are some pics I found online of flowers on a handbag. The flowers will be red of course!

i'm having the mothers carry small flower bouquets.

as for readers, the cheapest way was to do the corsages, so i'm doing that.

eta: actually, i meant bouts for the lady readers as well...

I've seen pics of the mom's holding mini bo-k's. it looked really nice.

I'm not using corsages either - the mothers are holding very small bouquets - tussy mussies, i think they're called (maybe 3 or 4 roses).
