What are some (pet) names people call you that you hate>?
I HATE the word SWEETIE....UUGH....only time I hear that used is when its a Drag Queen on TV....
I also hate when people who are even younger than me, refer to me as 'kid'....uugh...I am older than you.....DUH!

I think I do not like it so much because my next door neighbor growing up always used to call me that, and she was like a year younger han me...I never could understand it....uugh

I don't like when DH calls me 'baby' - I don't know why...it just makes me cringe...
and my mother used to call me Era...I hated it...

Erica- My hubby calls me baby all the time and thats what I call my DH constantly. His boss calls me 'babybaby' because I am always whining BABY!!!!!!!!!!!

i can't stand when people call me baby.....tom did that once and i made fun of him.
i also hate that my grandfather and uncle call me Gloria instead of Lori. Not sure how it started...but it bugs the crap out of me!

My name is Patricia. When I introduce myself as Patricia, I HATE what people reply 'Nice to meet you PAT!' AGGHHH, it kills me!

I'm the same way w/ my son. His name is Patrick not Paddy or Pat. It makes me cringe!!

same here! 2 girls were behind the register at Lowes in San Diego, and one called me Maam, and the other said, 'she isn't old, don't call her Maam!' , the other replied 'Well she's married'.

I hate when people call me KIDDO, especially at work. My old boss used to all the time and he's all of like 5-6 yrs older than me. Hell, I dated men older than him!!
Anyway, yeah, kiddo, drives me batty!!

HATE being called Dee. Same as others above my name is Denise and that is what I go by. DH somehow picked this up and I always correct him but he still does this. There are only maybe 2 people who call me this and it doesn't bother me but it irks me so much from anyone else!!!!!!!!!
I also hate when strange men call me sweetie or baby.

I hate being called Jenny, and my sister started 2penny,,,,because 'I always put my 2-cents in.' then I thought the name would be fitting for a forum board.
