I've booked the church, hall, & make-up artist. I am currently going to appt's with photographers. Just had our first tonight! Depending on how quickly we book photo/video... then DJ is next. I've also sent in our requested dates for pre-cana.

Who is your make-up artist?

I booked the hall, church, photographer/video, and ordered my dress... going to see the dj on tuesday! I want to book more but I feel like its so early to do the rest...

Does anyone have any suggestions for favor websites? Thanks

I booked Marie katz for make-up... she did my make-up for my sister's wedding. I was very happy with her. She is on this site if you want to check it out. Her wedsite is www.lovingcolor.com

I normally wouldn't have booked this yet.. but i knew i wanted to use her so i figured why not get it out of the way.. 1 less thing to go to a million appt's for.. I also hear that a lot of the good ones get booked early so I wouldn't wait for the last minute but you def have tons of time still. Good luck.. If you look on the reviews, I believe she received all 10's from her customers.

We have the hall and church - and that's about it for now...we were planning on looking for everything else after the holidays.

(Oh - and I have the bridesmaids dresses picked out - and our honeymoon!!) - just not ordered yet.

Absolutely nothing. We haven't even picked a day yet. We've sort of narrowed it down to March '07 so that's a start. I probably will not start booking anything until after New Year's. I feel if I do things too quickly like buy my dress, I'll hate it by the time the wedding comes around. I'll probably wait until next summer to go dress shopping and such. I'll just sit back and watch everyone else. You all can laugh at me later when I'm rushing everything.

You should wait for things like your dress. The one thing I think you should do now is book your hall since most girls do it 2 years in advance.

Ok, I think we foung the place! :

However I won't know if I have the date for sure until 1 year before so, I'd have to wait to book our vendors.

I'm ok with that truly. I just am so excited to see it in person, we're going next monday wish us luck!

0-yea, I know where we're getting tuxes, and I have our cp's & favors, if we book this place. well not the physical favors & cp's but my concept and where to go for them

They told us that you wouldn't know until 1 yr b/4 b/c the school has first dibs on dates...

IT IS BEAUTIFUL IF YOU ARE PICKING THAT PLACE!

Did you check out Deseversky??? Thats where we wound up booking...

Yes I hope so! FH & I have been to charity events @ DeServersky and I kinda want a place that we havn't been to, I also loved the old world glamor of VM. I can't justify the $1500.00 site fee for deServersky so...

I'll keep you updated

We have gotten the ceremony/reception site, the guest book, the wedding rings, and are about to get the florist

I know the wedding rings and guest book are weird things to pick up so early but we saw them and we thought better buy it now then not being able to find what we want later.

I am looking through magazines to see any places. My FH and I have agreed to see 10 places then make a choice. We will pick 5 places a piece.

I am also always looking at pictures of wedding gowns and seeing what I like on each one. and what I would change.

I thank my friend for showing me this website because of her I am geting so many ideas.
