What are the chances...

What are the chances...

What the chances that i can negotiate with the hall after i signed the contract and left a deposit. I just did it yesterday and got overly excited by the adjustment that she made in price and agreed a lil too quickly. My fiance and I realized soon after we left that we probably could have gotten out viennese trays included in the price. It turns out to be like 600 more in the total, which isn't bad but if I could get it for free then I could use that money for something else. Would you guys even bother to ask your BM to see if this could be thrown in? I kinda feel stupid trying. I mite just have lost my chance. waa

I asked for most but there was some that they threw in on their own... like extra food at CH, certain beer brand, etc ...

Our RH threw in a ton of things but only after we asked about it. If you phrase things a certain way and are just open and honest and NICE about things, they're more than willing to bend over backwards. Think about it, you're paying them for their services and in turn they want to make sure your guests have a great enough time so that they can ensure future business.

Thanks guys! I think I'm gonna pop into tomorrow to ask her. Worst case she says no and I look dumb lol

I'm going to ask for a free Viennesse 'hour' tomorrow night at my menu selection meeting. Since my wedding is during the day, I was told we wouldn't be able to have a full hour for the Viennesse and we'd only get a half hour. Instead of asking for a reduced price, I'm going to ask them to throw it in. We are 75 over our initial expectation of 150 (the minimum)...so hopefully that is leverage enough :) The worst they can say is no
