What are those things called that go at the end of your bed..like a little bench??

Do they have a name..

or those metal things that you hang your comforter on that goes like in the corner of your room???

not a chaise bc it has to be a little higher off the floor

blanket stand..hmm never thought it would be so simple

a hope chest is made of wood..the one I am talking about has a cushion...more like a chaise, but higher

sort of, but it doesn't have a back..only sides that sort of roll out..Sorry I am being so difficult..I see it in my head, but can't explain it

Yes - that's a settee....some of them are styled differently, depending upon the period but essentially that is what you are describing. I love settee's...I wish I had enough room at the foot of my bed for one.
